Things To Do Indoors - 11 ideas

I had totally forgotten about this blog until I was doing some "digital house" cleaning and decided to update it. And due to the fact that it has been a while . . .I am going to list a few ideas in this in this post as a way to catch up with the posting in this blog.

1. Get out all the stuffed animals and turn you living room into a zoo, complete with admission tickets and treats.
2. Make the neatest dominoes track and let the littlest child push the first domino to see it all fall down.
3. Write a newsletter about what you families doing and send it to all your relatives.
4. Learn some silly songs together.
5. Read to the children.
6. Put on a play and video tape it.
7. Spend a day cooking dainty treats and several kinds of tea. Invite the neighbors in for a formal tea party.
8. Build a Barbie mall with your daughters.
9. Build a car town with your sons.
10. Ask each of them to tell something about themselves that nobody else knows.

Colouring Fun Indoors

Get colored pencils or crayons sit at a table and put up dividers so you can’t see each other’s papers. Go around in a circle, each person says to draw one thing, like a tree.




Everyone draws that thing and then next person says what to draw. After ten or so things compare pictures and see how different they look.

Build Tower of Cards

Build the tallest card tower you can.

This is a lot if fun, To do this activity, you will need packs and packs of cards. These are cards that are used to play pokers. They can be easily obtained from any stores and are not expensive.

Once the cards are in, start the fun by challenging your kids who can build the tallest stack of card towers. This had to be done in a room with the ceiling fan turned to the lowest speed. Strong fan speed spoilt the fun.

It’s interesting to note how they, the kids starts to use there imagination in the building.

Why This Blog

This is my first post in this blog and I wish to inform that the purpose of this blog is the collection of things, especially hobbies which you can do indoors. I am not an outdoor type of person and I have two kids to keep them engaged. So what better way if I can have a hobby or hobbies which they can pick up too.

I have a list with such hobbies already in mind and I will post them over a period of time : ).
